For the past few weeks, I've been putting in a lot of effort on this project. This design was not easy to write, but once you get the hang of the stitch set, it's a lot of fun and quick to crochet. This project can be completed in a few hours if you are not a beginner.

This cross-body bag is made with a 3mm cotton cord with a 3.5mm crochet hook, and each bag takes about 160 meters to create. The non-stretchy cotton cord making this bag look structured and solid appearance. This cotton cord gives a great star stitch definition. It has a wonderful texture and depth to it. This bag looks even better with floral button closure.

The finished bag is around 15cm x 20cm x 4cm in size (Width x Height x Depth). To make a stronger, more stable strap for this bag, I'm using the Romanian cord technique. This crochet strap measures 120 cm in length with a 45cm drop length. The beauty of handmade bags is that you may modify the length to fit your height and comfort level.
