Phone bags are one of my all-time favorite projects to design, and they’ve become super popular over time. This version features a beautifully delicate lacy flap that adds a soft, elegant touch to a very functional little bag. This is a quick and easy project that’s perfect for makers of all levels. Not only is it fun to create, but it’s also practical. The phone bag includes a small pocket that’s great for carrying little essentials like cards, keys, or lip balm — perfect for when you want to travel light.
You can use any type of cotton yarn for this project. I often get asked what yarn I use, but the truth is, I usually buy my yarn from a local shop that doesn't carry branded labels. That said, any non-stretchy cotton yarn will work beautifully for this pattern. Cotton is ideal for small bags and pouches because it's sturdy and holds its shape well.
